Testimonials

“Iris is a smart, compassionate, problem-solving health care leader. She approaches every issue with a focus on her customers and achieving the best outcome for everyone involved. We felt entirely comfortable entrusting a senior family member to the care of a facility she leads --- perhaps the best endorsement of her excellent managerial and leadership skills. Iris is a gem.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Iris while I was orienting for my first leadership role, who made my learning experience much more pleasant than I had initially anticipated. More than a colleague, Iris became my mentor who gently guided me towards upcoming goals and provided support to overcome challenges. She is natural at building good rapport with the team and the clients. She is approachable, kind, and compassionate leader who is always ready to ‘get her hands dirty’ when needed...”

“What do you call someone who shows kindness, is caring, sympathetic, has a willingness to help others, someone who is compassionate, sensitive, warmhearted, understanding? All those adjectives describe Iris. I’ve known Iris for several years but really got to know her and see her in action when my mother moved into her facility in early 2017.
My mother had Alzheimer’s and was in memory care when Iris was the Director and during that time she was promoted to the Associate Executive Director and my mother could not have been in better hands. My mom wasn’t the easiest resident with dementia. Not only did Iris take the time to try to understand what my mother needed, but she helped me learn to understand how I could be better at helping mom.
I am thankful that not only did mom have Iris in her corner, I feel my whole family had Iris and her entire team in our corner, doing everything they could to make a not-so-great situation, bearable and she taught me to “meet mom where she was”, which for me was key to me having pretty decent visits with mom during her last year. Iris helped me accept mom’s disease and because of that she helped me to have no guilt at the end of mom’s life (April 2018). For that I will always be grateful... To have Iris in your corner when you are going through the Alzheimer's Journey with a loved one, consider yourself lucky.”
